[wanabidii] City hall should still get the genuine ISO certified

Many a times I have always stressed the need to carry out a

comprehensive over haul of the institution we call

city hall which is known better for Councillors exchanging punches, employment

of ghosts, sorry, ghost workers and assorted corruption scandals.

This organization uses public money and one way or another never seems to

get out of itself and deliver. Even as the country moves rapidly forward

towards vision 2030.

That city hall could have been found worthy of an

ISO certification was a bad joke; A bitter pill to swallow for their clients

who get bad or inefficient over priced services now for many years.

Now it seems the so called ISO certification  for city hall was a just a fake certification.

No doubt all the certification fees paid by some city hall officials who just

hope to walk away free after mismanaging public resources.

It was a good relief that the genuine ISO certification body in Geneva Switzerland,

disowned the city councils fake ISO certification; that was most probably printed down

river road by a craft con artist after the paying of the certification fees.

For an institution known for chasing mama mboga down the streets,

confiscating keys from matatu drivers and having no water in the

fire fighting trucks, it had been with dismay that such an inept organization

could have been found worthy of an international and prestigious

certification such as an ISO standard certificate.

It is doubtful that the ineptitude and slothful city council officers suspected of just what a

fake certification they had paid for until it was brought up to them from an external source.

City hall should tell us who paid the associated fees that go along with the ISO certification so the

culpable offers may be made to pay back the public money.

The only officers who should be found inside city hall are those who are committed

to transforming the institution to a genuinely ISO 9000 certified organization.

As things stand. City hall is a national money down the drain at every other turn that badly

needs an overhaul.
